This Fair Usage Policy ("Policy") is designed to ensure optimal performance,
security, and availability of our Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform for all customers.
By using our services, you agree to comply with this Policy.
1. Storage Usage
- Each plan includes a fixed storage quota as per subscription.
- Storage consumption beyond the plan limit is billed as overuse.
- Overuse charges are calculated on a monthly basis.
- Persistent overuse may require plan upgrade.
2. Bandwidth Usage (Download / Restore)
- Incoming data (backup uploads) is unlimited.
- Outgoing data (restore/download) is free up to plan-specific limits.
- Excess download usage is billed per GB.
- Frequent large restores may be throttled to ensure service stability.
Example:
If your plan includes 100 GB storage and free download up to 2 (200 GB),
any usage beyond 200 GB will be charged as per applicable rates.
3. Backup Frequency & Automation
- Backup schedules must comply with plan limits.
- Excessive backup frequency impacting platform stability may be restricted.
- Misconfigured backup loops are subject to suspension until corrected.
4. Prohibited Usage
- Using backup storage as primary file hosting or CDN.
- Continuous download / redistribution of stored data.
- Storing illegal, pirated, or malicious content.
- Abuse that impacts other customers or infrastructure.
5. Data Security & Encryption
- All backups are encrypted end-to-end.
- Customers are responsible for safeguarding encryption keys.
- Lost encryption keys cannot be recovered by us.
6. Fair Usage Enforcement
- We reserve the right to throttle excessive usage.
- Temporary suspension may occur in case of abuse.
- Customers will be notified before any enforcement action.
7. Policy Updates
This Policy may be updated periodically. Continued use of the service
constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
